Camper Adventure: Fun days at Weston Bend... 10 June

We are getting pretty well organized in the camper these days. We still get a lot of questions from folks about how we are doing.. and what we are doing with our dog, cat, and three kids.. We are doing fine right now- getting settled with things and changing our minds pretty regularly about what items are essential.. and what we can do without. It is very freeing to part with "stuff" to simplify our lives.

No that's not Rhoda... but a funny picture of how it feels sometimes to have our pup in the camper with us... No, she's not that bad. (Traci may say otherwise though.)

Traci has been perfecting cooking, preparing, storing, and organizing the kitchen. She is doing awesome! She will probably write more about that fun later..

So, back to organization-- We put a cap (camper shell- depending on what you call them in your part of the country) on the bed of my pickup to add more storage space out of the weather. We bought a Leer 100XL cap and love it. You can toss a lot of stuff in the back in a very disorganized fashion-- but then you have to sort through it all to find stuff. So- look at these boxes! The Answer!

Two of these fit nicely in the bed to keep most of the stuff we don't need to have regular access to. So, with that- we spent some time reorganizing the camper and truck again this week. It's always a challenge to find the right amount of stuff you need / don't need in the camper.

Ahhhhh... the taste of perfection...

We spent some time taking care of last minute business this week too. We went over the Overland Park on Saturday to get the oil changed in Traci's car and run some errands.
